How to manage screen time from your phone with tvusage Remote
Install tvusage on child devices to monitor usage and apply controls. Use tvusage Remote on the parent’s phone or in a browser to review linked devices and manage synced rules.
Connect your devices
- Create the parent account.
Install tvusage Remote on your Android phone or open the web remote. Choose Sign up if needed, then Sign in. Keep account access and the parent PIN private.
- Connect the child device.
Complete tvusage permissions and PIN setup. Open Settings → tvusage remote → Sign in with the same account and agree to the displayed data policy. Confirm the device appears in Remote before relying on an action.
- Create and sync profiles.
Profiles originate in tvusage. After synchronization, Remote can show them and Pro can edit them. If none appear, check connectivity, create the profile on the child device, and reload Remote.
Review usage and change controls
Select the child’s profile and All devices for combined usage, or choose one device for its contribution. Device rows are included in the total; adding them again would count the same usage twice.
With Pro, open a synced profile, adjust Screen time, Usage hours, or Breaks, and choose Save. Check the selected profile and target device before using linked-device controls or eligible PIN requests.
Updates depend on connectivity and synchronization. Stale reports do not prove a new rule was applied. Reconnect, refresh, and check the child device; contact support if problems continue.
